JPMorgan Chase is adding new faces to its team and expanding leadership skills this week. The financial firm announced the appointment of Reggie Chambers as its new Head of Investor Relations. He will take over from Jason Scott, who will later serve as Head of Global Technology Finance.

He will be responsible for leading the team to maintain business relationships with investors and analysts. Chambers will also help guide the team through long-term strategy, financial performance, corporate governance, and understanding of the company's business model.

Chambers currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for Consumer Banking, leading the initiatives focused on industry innovation and operations. In his current position, he is responsible for developing new brand location formats and supporting the Consumer Banking division during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"This is a great example of our strong talent bank and mobility for two wonderful leaders," said Jennifer Piepszak, chief financial officer of JPMorgan Chase BLACK COMPANY by email. "I would like to thank Jason for the great job he has done over the past four years in helping investors understand our compelling value proposition and I welcome Reggie to the team as he brings a wealth of experience to this role."

Prior to joining the finance company, the Harvard Law graduate also served as a White House Fellow on the National Economic Council of the White House under the Obama administration. In addition to his work as Vice President at Citi Investment Banking and as a corporate lawyer in New York City and Madrid, Spain, he has also worked in management consulting and on major investments in companies such as the 3i Group. His new role will begin in January 2021.
