The NBA's opening game between the Warriors and Nets wasn't much entertainment, but Kevin Durant's post-game interview was safe.
After Brooklyn's 125-99 win over Golden State on Tuesday, the NBA on TNT crew caught up with Durant, who scored 22 points in his first meaningful move since sustaining an Achilles injury in the 2019 NBA final . The two-time final MVP didn't seem too keen to chat with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal, though it wasn't exactly riddled with great questions.

An exchange was found to be particularly cumbersome. Barkley tried to get an answer regarding Durant's recovery process, but his formulation allowed Durant to answer with a simple "yes".
That opened the door for the panel to mock Barkley and Durant with their own unenthusiastic responses.
Of course, TNT wouldn't show this clip just once. After the Clippers-Lakers game ended, Ernie, Kenny and Shaq were delighted with the reaction shots.
Even Warriors striker Draymond Green, who was out on the opening night with a foot injury, took part.

Good to see that the "NBA on TNT" is already in the off-season.
