h / t Breitbart; According to the BBC, the University of York in the UK has advised students self-isolating due to Covid-19 to wait a minute in their rooms if they hear a fire alarm to avoid the risk of infection in healthy people on the run from the burn to minimize building.
Covid: The self-isolating students in York said: "Wait back in the fire".
Students who self-isolate at the University of York should wait in their room in the event of a fire and let others out first.
The university's health and safety services asked students to wait a minute before leaving, "so that non-isolating people can exit."
A total of 288 university employees and students have tested positive for coronavirus.
The university said it has since "updated and changed" its guidelines.
However, it has not yet been made clear whether the advice is still applicable to self-isolating students.

Personally, I am deeply concerned about Covid-19. I don't think we've seen the last of these nasty viruses. But compared to the mortal danger of lingering in a burning building? Seriously, University of York, develop a sense of proportion – you shouldn't have known this was a stupid idea.
