Under Armor has announced that it will be launching a signature shoe brand for three-time NBA champion Stephen Curry called The Curry Brand.
The curry brand was launched on December 1st. A percentage of Curry Brand's annual sales is intended to be invested in communities with limited resources. By 2025, Under Armor's curry brand plans to create at least 20 safe places to play and support 125 programs that impact young athletes. The aim is also to create opportunities for the training of more than 15,000 trainers, which in total affects more than 100,000 young people.
"We have the common goal of making the game accessible for children so that we could naturally focus on it," said Curry in a written statement about the partnership with Under Armor. "I grew up doing a lot of things to give back to the community with my family – and I keep doing that now – while Under Armor has done so much to support athletes around the world."
